Rauhankoulun piirroskuvassa on kaksi lasta. Toinen seisoo taaempana ja vilkuttaa. Edempänä oleva istuu pyörätuolissa ja pitelee maapalloa esittävää ilmapalloa

The activities of the Peace School are backed up by Finnish curricula (VASU2022, POPS2014, LOPS2019), as well as extensive competence and as a method of working as a learning lesson.

The Peace School challenges Finnish students to think about global development issues, peace and nonviolence in their own lives, and conflicts at a global level. It is possible to customize the content of the content according to the group’s wishes.

The Peace School activity sets support the curricula of primary and high school education (POPS 2014, LOPS 2021) as well as wide-ranging competence, and function as a method that crosses subject boundaries. The emphasis of the content can be adjusted according to the wishes of the group.

The subjects for which teachers and schools mostly order Peace School workshops are ethics, Finnish, social studies, history, geography, religion and philosophy. Teachers of other subjects can order Peace School workshops for their groups, too.

The goals of the Peace School activities can be found in the primary and high school curricula.
